CEBRI, in collaboration with the G20, publishes Urban Sustainable Development. The book contains a submission by H.E. Fahd Al-Rasheed: Enlightened Leadership: A New Model for a Sustainable Urban Future. The ideas in this paper form the basis of the Master in City Administration initiative.

Eduardo Paes, Mayor of Rio de Janeiro and 2024 Urban 20 Co-Chair, was the guest of honor at a dinner engagement to celebrate urban leadership and discuss the challenges of city leadership training with attending mayors from around the world.

At the U20 Global Summit in Johannesburg, city officials, international institutions, universities and global urban specialists convened to mark the launch of the MCA Initiative and issue a global call for structured city leadership education.

At an event held as part of Comotion Global in Riyadh, mayors and urban professionals from around the world came together in support of the Master in CIty in Administration Initiative and committed to engaging universities to deliver the program.
